New year, time for a new skill and hobby! Love Cut Silver's Ring Making Workshops are returning to Leith Makers in Edinburgh!
Join us for an immersive evening engaging in the art of jewellery making in a supportive and welcoming environment. Perfect for beginners, our workshops focus on creating a relaxed space where you can explore the process of crafting your very own 925 sterling silver ring from scratch—no experience required. While you may not leave a master silversmith, you’ll walk away with a beautiful handmade ring and a genuine sense of accomplishment.
Led by our experienced instructor, Constance, this class emphasises sustainable practices, using recycled materials and eco-friendly techniques. In a small, intimate setting, all questions are welcomed, with personalised guidance offered every step of the way. This workshop encourages creativity and confidence, highlighting how approachable and fulfilling low-impact metalwork can be.

You are warmly invited to come and make your own silver ring with expert jewellery Constance at Leith Makers in Edinburgh. Personalised with any words/letters/numbers, this is your chance to create a wonderfully unique wearable memory.
Starting with a 5mm width strip of recycled 925 sterling silver Constance will direct you through the steps of sizing, adding texture, personalising with various icon and letter options, soldering with a blowtorch and polishing.
Central to the process is a low impact commitment, so you’ll also get the chance to understand what environmentally conscious silversmithing is all about. From where materials are sourced to understanding how to eliminate chemicals in the process.
This class is ideal for absolute beginners or those with some jewellery making behind them.
