This ticket is for Friday the 20th of June evening at Magazine Appreciation Society, Glasgow, 6:30pm - 9:00pm.
You are warmly invited to come and make your own silver ring with expert jewellery Constance at Magazine Appreciation Society, Glasgow. Personalised with any words/letters/numbers, this is your chance to create a wonderfully unique wearable memory.
Starting with a 5mm width strip of recycled 925 sterling silver Constance will direct you through the steps of sizing, adding texture, personalising with various icon and letter options, soldering with a blowtorch and polishing.
Central to the process is a low impact commitment, so you’ll also get the chance to understand what environmentally conscious silversmithing is all about. From where materials are sourced to understanding how to eliminate chemicals in the process.
This class is ideal for absolute beginners or those with some jewellery making behind them.
